Pepperoni Rolls- A Family Favorite

3 Christmases ago we had new friends over for Christmas night dessert. Katrina brought this tasty little delight known as a pepperoni roll. Apparently they are quite popular in West Virginia, but I had never had them. Now for someone who had not had a pizza in what seemed like forever, these little bites of heaven were MAGIC! It's so super simple- pepperoni baked into a roll. That's it. But it totally curbs that pizza craving. I have since brought these to parties, baby showers, bridal showers... They are quite popular. I made them today for my girls and their friend and her mom. They always go over so well I thought I would share this with all of you.

*Much thanks to Stephanie Shaw for taking the pictures!

Ingredients:
Rhodes Rolls
Pepperoni ( you can use the presliced or the log. The presliced is greasier but less time consuming. I am going to try these with the veggie pepperoni too)

Directions:
1.Take the Rhodes Rolls out of the freezer and allow to thaw- about 30 minutes or so.
2.Cut the rolls in half.

3.Flatten with you hands, put a couple pieces of pepperoni in the middle. Fold the roll over and press the edges together.
lay them on an ungreased cookie sheet.

4.Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Flip over and cook another 10 minutes or until golden.
